Terms of sale
Last updated 26 August 2026.
1. Parties
These terms govern sales by Kavon (Przemysław Nowak), ul. Kryształowa 28, 63-600 Olszowa, Poland, VAT EU PL6192011875, trading as Kavon Beds ("we", "us"), to the trade buyer named on the relevant order ("you").
2. Products and specification
We supply ottoman bed base frames and Murphy bed mechanisms to the specifications published on this site at the time of your order. Minor manufacturing tolerances apply — see each product's specification table.
3. Quotations, pricing and minimum order
Prices shown on this site are indicative, in EUR, ex-VAT and ex-works, and are confirmed in writing when we send you a quotation. The minimum order is one pallet per size, or the pallet quantity confirmed in your quotation.
4. Payment
Orders are confirmed against a proforma invoice, payable 100% in advance. Production begins once payment has cleared.
5. Delivery and Incoterms
Goods are delivered on Delivered At Place (DAP) terms — seeDelivery and terms for freight, unloading and customs details. Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks of production plus approximately one week in transit; these are estimates, not guaranteed dates.
6. Import responsibilities
As the importer of record, you are responsible for holding a valid GB EORI number and UK VAT registration before your first delivery, and for confirming your unloading method (forklift or loading dock) before dispatch. We are not liable for delays or costs arising from missing import documentation or unsuitable unloading arrangements at your address.
7. Risk and title
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, in line with DAP Incoterms. Title to the goods remains with us until we have received payment in full.
8. Damage, shortages and claims
Please inspect pallets on arrival. Any damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery paperwork at the time of delivery and reported to us in writing within 5 working days, with photographs where possible. Claims reported later may not be accepted.
9. Warranty
Frames carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects in the welded frame, lifting mechanism and gas springs under normal trade use. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, incorrect assembly, or wear on slats and fittings from normal use.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a UK-registered business under applicable UK legislation.
